I have done some clean-up just for personal amusement while between jobs. I must leave it to others now. I would suggest rather than asking here, you should download Inkscape, play with it to see how it works, and fix them. Hi @Alexphangia You should consider learning some basic SVG skills, as for minor colour changes you can just edit with a text editor. In fact you can just use a phone and a text editor app (I use runestone text) to edit RAPTOR7762^{Whats up?} 08:57, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

  I propose to make a vectorized national emblem of Chuvash ASSR (1937–1978) based on this SVG vector image of the pre-1978 Komi ASSR national emblem. At the same time, all the state name texts on the shield and all the motto text on the cloth strip below, except the four Cyrillic letters "АССР" at the sub-top, were removed and replaced with the state name texts and motto texts in the Chuvash ASSR national emblem. The format and typesetting shall be based on all the texts on the Chuvash ASSR emblem, but the sub-top texts (including a two-line Cyrillic texts "ЧУВАШСКАЯ/ЧӐВАШ" in the left, and a single-line Cyrillic texts "АССР" in the right) match to the original JPG image.

  This is the version of the national emblem of Chuvash ASSR after 1978.  Done I've hopefully fixed the error by adding a missing xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" and removing redundant spaces. @Swiãtopôłk: Thanks as usual! Just or two things; Regarding Eva Gladys Olaowsine's design, I believe the sizes and positions of the stars in the canton should be modified to closer match the way the stars are displayed in the source image. And regarding Jim Cavanaugh's design, the star on the current version of the file appears to be slightly bottom-of-centre within the disk instead of being precisely in the centre of it. A couple years ago, Afever made these excellent images. They need a couple minor revisions. Could anyone please make the following edits? The images are based on the ones on pages 115–117 of this article; these can be used as a reference for the needed edits. The edits:

• Top left: Please: 1) remove where the line at the mouth crosses over the tongue; 2) remove the gray from the portion of the tongue which is inside the serpent's mouth; and 3) put a small "A" at the bottom left of the image.
• Top right: Please put a small "B" at the bottom left of the image.
• Bottom left: Please: 1) add the three "plugs" (the things with diagonal lines); and 2) put a small "C" at the bottom left of the images.
• Bottom right: Please: 1) add the three "plugs"; 2) define the end of the serpent's tail (this may require making the surrounding gray area a little larger); 3) make the surrounding gray color (i.e., the part that was added in this image) a bit different (e.g., with dots) than the interior gray color (i.e., the color that's in all of the images); and 4) put a small "D" at the bottom left of the image.
