This first Cambridge meetup happened here at the CB2 cybercafé on Norfolk Street (map), afternoon on Saturday 18 October. CB2 serves drinks (hot drinks, juices, and alcohol) and food. It has WiFi internet access.

The ten of us discussed various topics for around three hours. On the agenda were numerous matters, including missing articles, single-user login, dividing up the editing box, and whether Wikipedia has turned out to be a passing fad. A select group adjourned to "Al Casbah" on Mill Road.
