- (Discuss) – Macedonian Karaman → Macedonian Shepherd Dog – Macedonian Shepherd Dog - Karaman. The dog is registered on the website of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale as the Macedonian Shepherd Dog - Karaman. It is also described in the same way by Macedonian authors in the sources cited in the article. I think the article should be renamed in this regard into Macedonian Shepherd Dog, because the name under which it currently exists is not entirely accurate. Jingiby (talk) 06:10, 22 March 2026 (UTC)

- (Discuss) – Four-vertex theorem → Four vertex theorem – Per a recent discussion on Talk:Four color theorem. Our sources use both versions of the title, but more of them avoid the hyphen. And hyphenation is not needed to resolve any ambiguity: parsing the title as four (vertex theorem) does not make sense grammatically nor mathematically. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:39, 12 March 2026 (UTC) — Relisting. - (Discuss) – Maghrib → Maghrib (disambiguation) – Maghrib is a variant spelling of Maghreb and is very common in scholarly writing, since it is the standard transliteration of the Arabic term in the most commonly used systems. The Encyclopaedia of Islam, New Edition has an article on al-Maghrib but not on the prayer, which is covered in the article on salat. Ngrams show capital-M Maghrib much more popular than maghrib. I think it is safe to treat the Maghreb as the primary topic for Maghrib and make it a redirect at least. - (Discuss) – Indoor golf → Golf simulator – This article as it currently stands appears to be trying to cover some general umbrella concept of any golf that takes places indoors (although for some reason excludes miniature golf?), but in actuality is 95% an article about golf simulators with a small, unsourced section about indoor driving ranges tacked on. That last section, if sources can be found to support it, would be better off moved to the driving range article and just allow this article to cover a single topic. Maybe I should've just boldly moved this, but I figure a discussion first will avoid any reverts. Also, for transparency, I did recently remove another small section that I believed to be redundant. -- Fyrael (talk) 20:56, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- (Discuss) – Shia Islam → Shi'ism – Per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:CONCISE. The word Shi'ism is about 4.5 times more common than the expression Shia Islam in English, as shown by Google Ngram. It is the older and more standard term in scholarship and historiography. (The corresponding English adjective and noun for an adherent is Shi'ite, also overwhelmingly more common than Shia Muslim.) Shi'ism is also more linguistically accurate, as the Arabic word شيعة (Shīʿa) is not an adjective. It is also consistent with Wikipedia’s naming of other major branches of Islam, such as Ibadism (the third-largest branch of Islam). Finally, Wikipedia already uses Shi'ism in other article titles, including Twelver Shi'ism, the largest branch of Shi'ism. ~2026-17709-24 (talk) 19:43, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- (Discuss) – Akıncılar → Akıncılar, Akıncılar – Looking at the various topics listed at Akıncılar (disambiguation), the one with the highest readership interest is Louroujina. There is also a district called Akıncılar District, in which the town that currently has its article at the base name "Akıncılar" is located, and there are also various other identified towns and villages and neighborhoods that have this name. The "primary topic" town has a population only around 2,500 people, so it is just a small town, not a major city. Moreover, "Akıncılar" is also the name of a hacker group that claimed credit for a website attack that followed the Charia Hebdo satire publication. Overall, it does not seem clear that the reader would almost certainly be looking for the current "primary topic" town if they look for "Akıncılar". Pageview data is here. - (Discuss) – Proposed 2008 Basque status referendum → 2008 Basque status referendum attempt – Per WP:PRECISE,
"titles should unambiguously define the topical scope of the article"
. However, the current titles are somewhat misleading by hinting at the votes being mere "proposals" (such as Proposed second Scottish independence referendum), rather than actually attempted votes (in both cases, the legal framework for these two specific referenda to be held on a specific date was approved, even with specific questions, but the votes were not held due to subsequent, outside circumstances). The proposed names would be more in line with the structure provided by WP:NCELECT and WP:NCEVENT ([when/date] [where/country name or adjectival form + type] [what]), as well as WP:CONSISTENT with other similar articles (see 2011 Greek economy referendum attempt or 2015 Tanzanian constitutional referendum attempt). - (Discuss) – Regina (freedwoman) → Tombstone of Regina – Per WP:BIO1E: the only thing known about this person is this tombstone. See footnote 1 (I just added in a quote to clarify):
Bédoyère, de la, Guy (2001). Eagles over Britannia. The Roman Army in Britain. Tempus. p. 160, 222-223. 84: Tombstone of Regina, Catuvellaunian freedwoman and wife of Barates the Syrian, from South Shields, Arbeia. The sculpture is one of the most celebrated from Roman Britain and Regina has become almost the 'archetypal' Romano-British woman whose enslavement was followed by legal and social integration into the exotic complexity that was the Roman Empire. The architectural style is unequivocally Eastern Empire, though Regina's posture is reflected in tombstones of women across Britain and the Roman world... The best-known woman from all Roman Britain, apart from Boudica, is Regina, wife and freedwoman of one Barates the Palmyrene, buried at South Shields (RIB 1065) (see 84)... The only other instance of a British wife is Verecunda Rufilia, wife of Excingus, who died at the age of 35 (RIB 621). A Dobunnian woman, she was buried at Templeborough...

- (Discuss) – Goleta postal facility shootings → 2006 Goleta postal facility shooting – A lack of other notable shootings at postal facilities in Goleta does not imply that a year is not necessary, factors such as how identifiable the incident does, and this incident does not appear to reach that level of notoriety. Please note that WP:NCWWW states that most events titles should say when, where, and what happened. Years are not WP:OVERPRECISION or only usable for disambiguation (if this were the case, then part of NCWWW would be basically irrelevant, and guidelines and policies should work in harmony, not in opposition to one another). Readers should not be confused if there have been other notable shootings at postal facilities in Goleta because if there had been, it should be mentioned and linked to in the article, like with the distinguish template. Additionally, I changed "shootings" to "shooting" as the incident was notable for the shooting that happened at the Goleta Processing and Distribution Center, and that is one location and per WP:CONSISTENT, it should just be called "shooting". The current title can imply that there were multiple postal facilities in Goleta which were attacked. Raskuly (talk) 05:07, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- (Discuss) – Woughton (parish) → Woughton – Per the discussion at #Drop the "(parish")"? with User:JMF. The naming errors seem to have been sorted out. The edit history of Woughton which was recently redirected here could be moved to Woughton on the Green as I previously suggested and either the article restored or just delete it and move this article to "Woughton". There doesn't appear to be a settlement called just "Woughton", there only seems to be "Woughton on the Green". I think we should also look at what to do with Woughton on the Green (parish) as we probably don't need a SI at that title so it could be redirected to this article as the other "Woughton on the Green" parish hasn't existed since 2012 at least not by that name. - (Discuss) – University at Albany, SUNY → University at Albany – I am proposing this move for a few reasons: # For consisteny with the University at Buffalo, the only other SUNY campus stylized as "University at". It's not University at Buffalo, SUNY... # Google Trends shows a significant preference towards "University at Albany" over the current page title of "University at Albany, SUNY"; it's a difference large enough that even when subtracting any hits that come up for both strings, the shorter form is still clearly preferred. # Local news sources overwhelmingly refer to the university without SUNY appended to its name. I checked recent coverage of UAlbany at news10
.com , timesunion.com , and wamc.org , and found numerous uses of University of Albany and UAlbany but very few uses in running text of the current page title. For reference, a Google search of"university at albany suny" site:timesunion.comturns up three pages of results, including a few false positives, while dozens of pages worth of results are returned when searching for"university at albany" site:timesunion.com. # In the national press, the trend continues. The New York Times uses the proposed title more way more than twice as often as the current one, as does The Washington Post. # The university's own style guide says that the university, when not being referred to with its full name nor the short form UAlbany, should be called the University at Albany. I'm aware of the official name guidelines, but in this case the independent sources agree as well. # While yes, it is true that most of the major college rankings include SUNY somewhere in their title for the institution, for example U.S. News and Niche (these are "claimed" profiles of the institution), these rankings are targeted primarily at high school students researching colleges who may recognize the brand name of the system more than the individual university (they do the same for UBuffalo and other SUNY system schools). The usage of the system name while covering the university for this specific audience should not supersede the wider usage of the simpler name in general SIGCOV of the institution. The usage of the acronym in rankings is also not universal, as the Shanghai Ranking site does not. For reference, there was an RM with the same title proposal in 2023 that closed as no consensus (pinging @Skarmory and BarrelProof) and an RM to move this title to "SUNY Albany" in 2024 that failed (@Theparties, Zzyzx11, ElKevbo, Eyer, and Epicgenius). Though I can't find a guideline on it, it would not surprise me if there has been some sort of consensus in the past that adding an acronym to a page title that not not help readers' understanding of the topic would be discourged. - (Discuss) – FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship → FIVB Men's Volleyball World Cup – On March 5, 2026, the FIVB officially announced that its flagship event, the World Championship, has been rebranded as the FIVB Volleyball World Cup effective starting with the 2027 edition. This move is intended to align the sport with the branding of other major global sports. However, a defunct tournament known as the "FIVB World Cup" already exists (last held in 2019). To maintain encyclopedic clarity: # The rebranded World Championship should take the primary title, as it remains the premier international competition and inherits the historical lineage of the 1949–2025 championships. # The defunct World Cup (1965–2019 for men's and 1973–2019 for women's) should be moved to a title with a year-range qualifier to distinguish it as a separate, historical event. # The name order should follow the recent consensus, putting the gender (men's or women's) before the sport (volleyball). - (Discuss) – American → American (disambiguation) – This should pretty self-evidently be a primary redirect towards Americans. Most of the major topics in the disambiguation page use American as an adjective because of their relation to the American people. A number of the singular variants of other countries' demonyms redirect to the plural, including Canadian, Pakistani, Nigerian, and New Zealander; ideally, this should be standardized as much as is feasible. - (Discuss) – Where is Mama → Where Is Mama? – I think this needs a question mark, and uppercase "Is" per MOS:CT. However, the English title may be unsourced. — BarrelProof (talk) 01:26, 13 March 2026 (UTC) — Relisting. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 04:38, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- (Discuss) – Tommy Cash → Tommy Cash (singer) – Since last year, pageviews at Tommy Cash (rapper) are consistently higher than this article. Make a two-item dabpage at Tommy Cash per WP:NOPRIMARY. 162 etc. (talk) 03:13, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- (Discuss) – Boaty McBoatface → Boaty McBoatface (underwater vehicle) – The primary topic of Boaty McBoatface is the boat that was subject of the internet poll. Boaty McBoatface should be a redirect to that section. Therefore I suggest renaming this article to make place for that, I'm open to other suggestions for a disambiguator. - (Discuss) – Mathcounts → MathCounts – The page mostly refers to the subject as MathCounts so I'm not sure why it isn't the same for the title. I also wouldn't hate MATHCOUNTS but I think it looks unpleasant. Speedrunz (talk) 02:07, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- (Discuss) – Sunni Ittehad Council → Sunni Ittihad Council – The spelling 'Ittihad' is used by the National Assembly of Pakistan,Election Commission of Pakistan, Radio Pakistan and other departments of the government of Pakistan. Ittihad is also consistent with other Wikipedia articles like Ittihad, Ittihad Party, the around 20 articles at al-Ittihad disambiguation at others. The spelling "Ittehad" is quite rare and unused in official documents. As such, the title spelling should be changed from "Ittehad" to "Ittihad". SICMedia (talk) 01:25, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- (Discuss) – French Bay / Otitori Bay → French Bay – French Bay is the common name for this bay, 'French Bay' currently redirects to the Bay of Biscay but that is not actual alternate name for the bay and is instead a neologism invented by an editor in 2005. - (Discuss) – Mister Terrific → Mister Terrific (disambiguation) – Requesting that the joint character article be moved as it is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC when compared to Mr. Terrific (TV series) and the Golden Girls episode mentioned at the DAB. Per the comics naming conventions, the two iterations known as "Mister Terrific", Mister Terrific (Michael Holt) and Mister Terrific (Terry Sloane), shall remain at their disambiguated titles. Pageviews in the past 90 days show recurring longevity of searches interested in the combined character article, which has consistently held more views than the TV series (not counting the individual character articles), even after a brief spike last May and July for the character's role in the Superman film. WP:SMALLDETAILS would also apply for differentiating the TV series from the character. — Trailblazer101🔥 (discuss · contribs) 00:36, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- (Discuss) – 2026 National Party of Australia leadership election → March 2026 National Party of Australia leadership election – Similar to the requested move discussion currently ongoing at Talk:2026 National Party of Australia leadership spill motion § Requested move 11 March 2026, I have proposed moving the two consecutive leadership elections to use a natural disambiguation using the month. It is very confusing for these two articles to always be titled without the month name, leading to a reader not knowing which topic they are clicking on. The proposed title would make for a very natural disambiguation so it would comply well with WP:NCDAB and WP:NATURAL. It would also make these two articles be titled similar to other leadership elections in this and other political parties. Qwerty123M (talk) 00:23, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
