Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Continued vandalism, and vandals keep adding YouTube links to vandalize. Many vandals on this page are LTA's PPriyix (talk) 02:14, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
- @PPriyix: unfortunately this LTA in particular has a habit of gaming autoconfirmed (see these first ten edits, for example) and thus pending changes may not be as effective. Best, Staraction (talk · contribs) 02:20, 24 April 2026 (UTC) (Non-administrator comment)
- I changed it so it would be indefinite Semi-protected PPriyix (talk) 02:26, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
- @PPriyix My understanding is that the lowest level of protection that would be sufficient for what you want is extended-confirmed protection, but that might be overkill, especially since the articles they target span vast topic ranges (see ISBN or 2013–14 Southern Utah Thunderbirds men's basketball team, for instance, both of which were recent targets). Protection might just not be the tool in the toolbox that we should use here because of the collateral damage. - (Non-administrator comment) +1 Even for a school article this is pretty bad. Entranced98 (talk) 13:02, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
User(s) blocked. All the vandal TAs appear connected. Various blocks applied that should take care of them. Rereport if this fails. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 22:39, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

- As far as I can tell, the page might be safe for now. I know this is a prime target for vandalism but nothing has happened since the previous protection expired. Love my dreams (talk) 15:08, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

Reason: While the semi-protection is proper, I do believe it should nonetheless be extended at least until some time in June; as the saga with Russinni is still a common topic among NFL pundits and online sleuths. John HoverGuy (talk) 22:20, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
