Albania, officially known as the Republic of Albania (Albanian: Republika e Shqipërisë, pronounced [ɾɛpuˈblika ɛ ʃcipəˈɾiːs]), is a country in the South Eastern Europe. Albania is a member of the United Nations, and NATO. Albania has been a potential candidate for accession to the European Union since January 2003, and it formally applied for EU membership on 28 April 2009.

Delete. Article clearly lacks a single source. None of the references provided make mention of a peak named "Maja e Bardhë". Kj1595 (talk) 16:25, 28 February 2026 (UTC)

Keep as per the reasons posted on this talk page. The author has turned this simple addition of this peak into the List of mountains in Albania into personal subject, with multiple reverts and very aggressive communication to a normal addition.
About the name forms, “Maja e Ibard” and “Maja e Bardhë” refer to the same toponym. In Albanian, maja (peak) is a feminine noun, and adjectives agree to it accordingly. The construction Maja e Bardhë literally means “White Peak,” where i/e bardhë means “white,” and the particle e links the feminine noun with the adjective.
The spelling “Ibard” appears to be an incorrect rendering, likely due to difficulties that non-Albanian speakers may have with the Albanian digraph “dh” and the final “ë” (which is often unstressed or silent). Linguistically and orthographically, “Maja e Bardhë” is the correct form of the name.
Therefore, the standardized spelling is justified.
I provided 7 different references and the user itself accepts the existence of this peak, but for some reason finds it difficult when someone else adds something to "his/her" article (the user has more than 770 edits on this article) and wants to delete the whole of the peak's article. More so, he went ahead and moved the article into a draft instead of searching for some more references, which of course were there to be found. Keep in mind that this all started by my first edit that I did on the List of mountains in Albania, which as you can imagine was, the addition of Maja e Bardhë peak. That's a bunch of word salad. The facts are that the article itself lacks sources where the name Maja e Bardhë is specifically mentioned. Additionally, there are no sources provided which correlate the meaning of the name Maja Ibard into Maja e Bardhë. This seems like your own imagination. Kj1595 (talk) 00:57, 1 March 2026 (UTC)

I have no reason or motive to nominate this article for deletion other than the fact it lacks sources. I did not nominate this article you created for deletion as I know mountain literature exists about it, however scarce as it may be. So, I am not targeting your work for any specific reason. In fact, I have rewritten quite a few articles created by other users. The point is that you created an article of a fictional peak for which you have insofar failed to provide any sources.
