Add the WikiProject Earthquakes message box {{WikiProject Earthquakes}} to talk pages of articles within the scope of this project, including appropriate assessments if needed
Monitor Category:Earthquakes articles needing attention
Monitor the maintenance categories found within Articles using templated earthquake magnitude scale, paying particular attention to any articles in the invalid, missing, unspecified, unverified and dubious Richter categories - the aim is to make all of these categories empty if possible
Add magnitude templates to articles that include earthquakes magnitude scales but are not currently in the maintenance categories, especially where the type is not clear
Add references to all earthquake-related articles
Expand the List of historical earthquakes and List of 20th-century earthquakes articles
Add images for articles in Category:Wikipedia requested photographs of earthquakes
Expand articles on significant quakes, such as the 1908 Messina earthquake, for a list of articles in real need of expansion see Wikipedia:WikiProject Earthquakes/Articles needing expansion
Create articles for all earthquakes with an estimated death toll of 5,000 or more see here
Help out with draft earthquake-related articles at Category:Draft-Class WikiProject Earthquakes articles
