Following is a list of WikiProject Viruses' articles with citation maintenance messages. These messages may or may not denote an issue that necessitates editing the citation. If you don't understand what the issue is about, please follow instructions on the corresponding "CS1 maint:" category page.

Note: To make citation maintenance messages visible in any article, include the following in your common.css (style file):

If you address a maintenance message in a listed article in a way that makes the message disappear, it is not necessary to delete its entry or otherwise revise this list, as it will be updated by a bot on a daily basis.
