Ban appeal
Hello, my account was hacked and thus someone (not myself) spammed the channel resulting in a ban. I have secured my account and added 2FA so this should not happen again and I really enjoyed the discussion in the community and I am an active contributor to Wikipedia. - Absolutely not. You were ban evading as recently as three weeks ago and had a decline two weeks ago! Furthermore I see no indication in either appeal that you understand why you were banned and have changed your ways. We will not entertain another appeal for at least six months - that's August. - It makes no sense to come into a server you were banned from on a new account just to ask to be re-banned. There's no point except attention-seeking, which is what I think you were doing, and which we don't tolerate in the server. It's correct that no DMs arrived to your account - we declined the first ban as being far too soon, no further clarification on your part needed. And we're declining this ban because it's again way too soon and you're not endearing yourself to the mod team with your behavior. Six months of positive editing and we'll entertain the appeal. - It makes no sense to come into a server you were banned from on a new account just to ask to be re-banned. There's no point except attention-seeking, which is what I think you were doing, and which we don't tolerate in the server. - I didn't create this account solely to appeal the ban. I’ve been an IP editor (not on this wiki) for a while and simply hadn't decided to register yet. I find it frustrating that I was expected to intuitively know which exact rule I've broken, and I feel a ban is a disproportionate response to something simple as a "wankadoodle."
