This has been tagged as unsourced for over a decade. The Hebrew language article has some links, but no citations. It is likely that this will come up for deletion this month. Proposed deletion of J-blogosphere

Notice

The article J-blogosphere has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of notability - has had an OR tag since 2009, and "J-blog" doesn't seem to be at all a notable term. Very few of the references below even have the term J-blog in them.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 03:39, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

Is Sefaria a reliable source?

I'm currently working on the "Writings" section of R' Moshe Avigdor Amiel. Can Sefaria be used as a source to validate (a) the existence of certain writings, (b) Amiel's authorship of them, and (c) their topic and coverage? VidanaliK (talk to me) (contributions) 17:05, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

It would probably be best considered as a primary source since they just reproduce the text, usually. If you go to Sefaria, you can view where their text is coming from and source it from there as well. (The default tanach is from the Aleppo Codex, for example.) Sir Joseph (talk) 17:25, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
Well, in Sefaria, they also have a sidebar on each text explaining the subjects it covers. Can that be considered reliable? For example, https://www.sefaria.org/LeNevukhei_HaTekufah?tab=contents. VidanaliK (talk to me) (contributions) 17:45, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
Pinging @Sir Joseph. VidanaliK (talk to me) (contributions) 17:50, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
I would say so, just based on their reliability and "years in existence", etc. If it's the only source that tells you about the person, I'd say it's OK, but the reliability of Sefaria hasn't really been questioned in terms of it being a secondary source. Sir Joseph (talk) 18:35, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

Swiss Union of Jewish Students

I'm begging someone to source this. Please add sources. We're halfway through a backlog and it's time. Bearian (talk) 18:46, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Yeshivat Torat HaChaim

Notice

The article Yeshivat Torat HaChaim has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged as Unreferenced for a year, but actually unsourced for almost 17 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. A Google search found only one editorial complaining about being forced to leave Gaza; zero hits on Google News, Books, and Scholar. Run of the mill yeshiva: one of hundreds in Israel. Fails the relevant notability guidelines. Lacks significant coverage.
