North Cove Marina and Brookfield Place
Is North Cove Marina considered part of the Brookfield Place (New York City) complex? Should it be included in that category and the related World Trade Center infobox?
Cardinal Hayes High School
This has needed sources for 19 years. Can somebody please give additional sources? Ping me if you want to collaborate on this. (I didn't go there but my family lived nearby.) Bearian (talk) 19:06, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- It needs more than just references. The flowery text ("That dream and the vision of Cardinal Spellman, our founder, took form early in 1940.") was all copied verbatim from the school's website: https://www.cardinalhayes.org/list-detail?pk=107453&fromId=237505 pburka (talk) 22:07, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- Good catch! Bearian (talk) 22:09, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- I cut out a big chunk, but I might have missed bits. Bearian (talk) 22:12, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- Looks like the copyvio was added very recently (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cardinal_Hayes_High_School&diff=prev&oldid=1338065927). Might be best to revert to the prior version and delete all subsequent changes from the history. pburka (talk) 23:07, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
Can someone who is brave enough go inside the Fair Theatre
This place is an absolute dump. It's an adult theater that is surprisingly still operating. However it's historic. It opened in 1936. It still has its original seats. I want someone to take photos of the marquee and if they are feeling brave the interior of the theater. I would go myself but am unfortunately located 6 hours away. ~2026-11908-95 (talk) 03:25, 23 February 2026 (UTC)

Wallace Shawn discussions
There are three separate discussions regarding the Wallace Shawn article over at Talk:Wallace Shawn/Archives/2026#Nickname in infobox and concerns about banned user, Talk:Wallace Shawn/Archives/2026#Accolades and Talk:Wallace Shawn/Archives/2026#Time to split off the filmography section?. Input from project members would be very much appreciated. Thanks, sjones23 (talk - contributions) 22:37, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
Reviving the monthly collaboration project focused on NYC
Beginning in May 2021, members of WikiProject New York City and Wikimedia New York City began a monthly collaboration project whereby one or a thematic group of articles are selected for improvement. It lasted for a couple years then petered out. In an attempt to revive this monthly collaboration and in honor of Women's History Month, I've added a list of women from the Wiki400 list Wikipedia:NYC400. To kick start this, I wrote the article for Jocelynne Rainey. Pinging some folks who might be interested: @Pharos, @RoySmith, @Rhododendrites, @CmdrDan, @Thriley, @DutchTreat, @Scottandrewhutchins, @Windblown29, @Epicgenius, @Wileycount, @Pacita (WikiNYC), @Crystal.WMNYC, @Jeremyb, @ComplexRational, @CBwikimedianyc, @Rosiestep

Joseph Fallert Brewery complex - Williamsburg, Brooklyn building
I started an article for the Joseph Fallert Brewery complex. It is slated for demolition. I'm surprised there isn't a photo of this complex on commons, perhaps I'm missing it. Paging Wiki-superheros @Jim.henderson and @Epicgenius. - Wil540 art (talk) 01:03, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
- @Wil540 art, thanks for the mention. I usually take pics around Manhattan and near subway stations, but maybe I can get a pic during the summer. – Epicgenius (talk) 03:59, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
- Actually, reading the article, it looks like the brewery may not even have that much time left. I'll see what I can do. – Epicgenius (talk) 04:01, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
