CT/DT article titles

I should've mentioned this sooner, but isn't the "series" in article titles like 2026 PDC Challenge Tour series and 2025 PDC Development Tour series redundant? They're tours, so just calling them the Challenge Tour and Development Tour should suffice. @DartsF4 Greenflipper (talk) 20:20, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

I see the logic to it.

PDC website

The PDC website has been revamped and pretty much all URLs have been changed, leading to error messages for all old links.

Doing a quick scan of some references, most can be fixed by simply replacing the month's number with the month's name (i.e. "/02/" to "/february/"), but some URLs have slightly expanded title portions (i.e. "littler-denies-humphries-epic-lift-winmau-world-masters-title" turns into "littler-denies-humphries-in-an-epic-to-lift-winmau-world-masters-title"). Transgender eligibility changes

The PDC has just published a statement regarding the Darts Regulation Authority's eligibility policy, which has restricted women's events to only biological females, thus barring players such as Noa-Lynn van Leuven from playing in women's events. The story will spread from here to the wider media in the ensuing hours but (off the top of my head) the decision should affect the contents of the following articles:

Noa-Lynn van Leuven
2026 PDC Women's Series
2026 Women's World Matchplay (once created)

2027 World Championship

Would now be a good time to work on (and potentially publish) the 2027 World Championship article? The first international qualifier, the CDC Cross-Border Challenge, takes place this weekend, and we know the prize fund, format, sponsor, new venue.
