The light gallery and Tennyson Schad
Firstly I would like to declare my coi im the son in law of the late Tennyson schad, I am hoping to find someone from the project who is intersted in helping me to document a significant gap in the history of 20th-century photography: the Light Gallery (1971–1987) and its founder Tennyson Schad.
while many of the artists who showed at the gallery have significant pages , the founder Tennyson Schad or tbe gallery itself do not.
Ive identified some key notability Archives: The 279-archive collection is held at the Center for Creative Photography (CCP). Scholarly Review: Subject of the 2020 CCP exhibition "The Qualities of LIGHT" and the documentary "LIGHT: When Photography Was Undiscovered" by Lisa Immordino Vreeland. Legal Significance: Tennyson Schad’s role as a copyright attorney who helped bridge the gap between commercial photography and fine art law.
im delighted to do all tbe heavy lifting providing sources and citations and i have access to imagery that we would be happy to use in the articles . I hope this is of interest to someone. Best Regards Mark Mann Mark Simon Mann (talk) 19:20, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

Feedback requested at Trans woman#Page image
If you have some expert knowledge about possibly natural artifacts that may affect a photographic image, vs. an image being intentionally altered/photoshopped, your opinion would be appreciated at Talk:Trans woman#Page image, in particular, in response to the question posed at 22:19, 5 February (diff). Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 22:32, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- I have some expertise in image manipulation, and I'm not seeing anything that stands out about this.
- What you're seeing there is an artifact of the camera's focal length and the digital compression on the image. There's no reason to suspect that her fingers are actually connected below the first knuckle there (though it's possible that they might be). There may be a bit of foliage behind those two fingers contributing to the illusion, but I'm quite confident that it's an illusion. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 15:04, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was just as interested in the other two fingers, that appear to be curved or bent in ways that fingers don't go. Try and make a photo of your hand that makes your fourth and fifth fingers look like that. Mathglot (talk) 17:53, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
- I've seen stranger shapes in photos. Honestly, I didn't think anything of it, myself. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 02:26, 7 February 2026 (UTC)

Request for editor review: Alexander James Hamilton lead name variant (well-sourced)
Hello — I’m posting here to request editor review of a small, well-sourced factual update request on the Talk page of the article Alexander James Hamilton.
The request concerns adding a documented professional name variant (“also known as Alexander James”) to the lead, supported by independent reliable sources including Artnet News and Studio International.
I am the subject of the biography and have disclosed COI appropriately, so I have not edited the article directly.
The Talk page request with sources is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Alexander_James_Hamilton
If a WikiProject Photography editor is able to review and advise or implement if appropriate, it would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks. — Alexander James Hamilton Alexander James Hamilton (talk) 09:54, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
