Fazisi

Can anyone help with establishing whether Fazisi is notable? I have made some rough notes at User:Tony_Holkham/sandbox#Fazisi but in a nutshell she was built in the USSR (Georgia) for the specific purpose of participating in the 1989–1990 Whitbread Round the World Race with a Russian crew, the only time this has happened. She came 11th. Subsequently she lived a non-notable life until she was almost destroyed in a hurricane, then rescued for restoration by her present owner, who approached me to see whether an article on Wikipedia would be possible.

Can anyone help? I have written a couple of yacht articles, but am not sure about the notability of this one.

I've added some references to the article. There are two New York Times articles that can be used to show notability: , but I cannot access them. Kaffet i halsen (talk) 11:59, 1 November 2025 (UTC)

Article on (SAP) Sailing Analytics

Hi folks, about a year ago I tried to author an article on the Sailing Analytics solution (sapsailing.com) used, e.g., during the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Summer Games. The draft got rejected despite some attempts to rework to comply with the reviewers requests. Does this group have any interest in that article? Here is the draft : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:SAP_Sailing_Analytics Best, -- Axel Axeluhl (talk) 09:57, 1 November 2025 (UTC)

As reviewer finds the sourcing doesn't establish notability and I think it will be hard to find things specifically talking about it. Compare Video assistant referee or Hawk-Eye, where BBC, SI, Wired and The Guardian writes has written articles with different aspects. Kaffet i halsen (talk) 12:03, 1 November 2025 (UTC)

Draft article for review: Passatore sailboat (translation from Italian Wikipedia)

Dear all,

I would like to let you know about a draft currently waiting for review: Draft:Passatore.

This article is an English translation of the existing Italian Wikipedia page about the Passatore, a wooden sailboat model designed and built in the 1970s — one of the first projects by Finot.

I would really appreciate your opinions and, if possible, a review.

Thank you very much! Palco10 (talk) 12:24, 7 November 2025 (UTC)
