Portraits
Hello I am a member of the WikiPortrait, which is a project dedicated to getting more high-quality, Creative Commons licensed portraits for WikiMedia Commons and Wikipedia. I've noticed that many articles on even the most prominent scientists working today are lacking portraits. Is there any way for either myself or another member of WikiPortraits could help with this? - Hi SpiritedMichelle. I can't find any information on this effort so it is unclear what you can offer and what input you're looking for. Portraits on biography articles are always welcome AFAIC. ~Kvng (talk) 15:51, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

"Scientific study" article?
I feel like the article Scientific study shouldn't exist, and is already covered in other articles. Despite sounding very important, it never had its importance rated, possibly because anyone looking at it is confused as to what exactly this article is about. ເສລີພາບ (talk) 04:08, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
Help wanted at European Science Foundation
Over the past month or so there has been ongoing activity at European Science Foundation. A COI editor employed by the ESF has been editing the page to remove unflattering content, albeit not particularly brazenly. It seems as though the ESF is a group of little import (independent sources are difficult to find) and has previously engaged in ... questionable ... scientific practices. The COI editing seemed to be more of an issue to me when the employee undid a reversion of their edits without a real substantive explanation (an LLM-generated message was posted on the talk page as justification). This situation is concerning to me, but I am not confident I have the time or expertise to respond properly. Any help is appreciated! AviationFreak💬 19:00, 8 March 2026 (UTC)
