Zoe Roche (born 9 May 2008) is a British cyclist.[1] In 2025, she was a gold medalist at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in the mixed team relay.

Career

In August 2022, she won the U14 European Mountain Bike Championship XCE (Eliminator),[2] held in Capriasca, Switzerland.

In July 2024, she finished 2nd U16 in short-track (XCC) at the British National Mountain Bike Cross-country cycling Championships.[3]

In January 2025, she won the British Junior National Championships in Cyclo-cross at Cyclopark in Kent.[4] That month in Lievin, France she was a member of the British team which won the gold medal in the mixed team relay at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships.[5] The team, comprising Roche, Zoe Bäckstedt, Cat Ferguson, Thomas Mein, Oscar Amey, and Milo Wills became the first British team to win gold in the event.[6] It was her debut race at the World Championships.[7] She also competed in the Junior women's race at the same event, finishing 18th.[8]

Roche won the Junior Female, National Trophy Series after winning three rounds in Derby,[9] South Shields[10] and Paignton.[11]

On 23 February 2025, Roche represented Great Britain in cross-country mountain bike at the Shimano Super Cup where came 4th in Banyoles.[12] Her next XC mountain bike race was in the British National Cross-country Series at Cannock, England where she came 2nd.[13]

On 21 June 2025, Roche raced at the VIA Criterium at King's Cross, London, where she won the Elite Women's race, marking her first win in a senior road race.[14]

In October 2025 CAMS Majaco announced that Roche would be joining the team for 2026 as a second year junior.[15] In January 2026, Roche placed third in the U23 race at the British National Cyclo-cross Championships[16] having elected to race up from Juniors to Elite/U23.[17]
