The Alan Bown Set, conocida también como The Alan Bown! o Alan Bown, fue una banda de R&B británica, formada en 1965 en Londres.[1] Aunque no gozó de mucho éxito comercial, sirvió como base para impulsar las carreras de músicos como Mel Collins, Robert Palmer, John Helliwell y Dougie Thomson.[2] La agrupación publicó seis álbumes y cerca de quince sencillos entre 1966 y 1971.[1]
