Carl Lotus Becker ( – ) est un historien américain né à Waterloo (Iowa). Il fait ses études à l'université du Wisconsin-Madison. Frederick Jackson Turner est son conseiller doctoral. Il enseigne à l'université Cornell entre 1917 et 1941.
