Eric Helleiner

Eric Helleiner ist ein Enkelsohn des austrokanadischen Ökonoms Karl Ferdinand Helleiner (1902–1984).

Helleiner studierte Ökonomie und Politologie an der University of Toronto. Danach machte er einen M.Sc. an der London School of Economics und wurde dort auch promoviert. Er arbeitete an der York University in Toronto und an der Trent University in Peterborough. Er ist Professor an der University of Waterloo und wirkte auch an der in Waterloo ansässigen Balsillie School of International Affairs. Er ist Fellow der Royal Society of Canada.
