Philipp Habegger (* 23. Juli 1978) ist ein schweizerischer Mathematiker, der sich mit diophantischer Geometrie beschäftigt.

Er promovierte 2007 an der Universität Basel, war von 2008 bis 2010 an der ETH Zürich und danach an der Universität Zürich. 2013 war er am Institute for Advanced Study. Seit 2015 ist er Professor an der Universität Basel.

Habegger ist ein Spezialist in der Theorie der Höhen. Mit Vesselin Dimitrov und Ziyang Gao fand er explizite Schranken für die (nach der 1983 von Gerd Faltings bewiesenen Vermutung von Mordell endliche) Anzahl rationaler Punkte auf Kurven vom Geschlecht $g\geq 2$ .
