1998–99 Egyptian Premier League

The 1998–99 Egyptian Premier League was contested by 14 teams. The first team in the league, Al Ahly was the champion and qualified for the 2000 CAF Champions League.[1] Second placed team Zamalek qualified for the 2000 African Cup Winners' Cup via winning the Egypt Cup.[2] Third placed team Ismaily qualified for the 2000 CAF Cup.[3]
