List of members of the European Parliament (1979–1984)

Between 17 July 1979 and 23 July 1984, 551 individuals served in the European Parliament.[1] 410 members were elected during the European Parliament election of 7–10 June 1979. 24 members were appointed in 1981 after Greece joined the European Union and replaced after the 1981 European Parliament election in Greece. The other members were replacements.
