Previous season
The Lady Toppers finished the 2025–26 season 8–21 and 4–14 in C-USA play to finish last in the conference. They failed to qualify for the Conference USA tournament. Their winning percentage of .276 was the worst in program history, beating out the 2011–12 team that had a record of 9–21 and a winning percentage of .300.
