2026 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, is held on the streets of Detroit, Michigan on its 10-turn layout. A 1.645-mile (2.65 km) street course, the new layout first was used in 2023. It is currently a points-paying race of the NTT IndyCar Series. The event is contested by "Indy cars", a formula of professional-level, single-seat, open cockpit, open-wheel, purpose-built race cars. The race is traditionally held after the most prestigious event of the IndyCar calendar, and one of the oldest and most important automobile races in the world, the Indianapolis 500.^[3]

Qualifying was held at 1:00 PM ET on May 30, 2026.
