The 2026 IIHF World Championship Division I consisted of two international ice hockey tournaments organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Divisions I A and I B represent the second and the third tier of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships.[1]

In Group A, Kazakhstan and Ukraine gained promotion to the Top Division and Japan was relegated.[2] In Group B, Estonia got the win and promoted.[3]
