Seedings

The teams to be seeded shall be determined in the following order of priority: (a) The champion of the 2025–2026 Turkish Cup; (b) Teams competing in a higher league in the 2026–2027 season; (c) Teams competing in a higher league in the 2025–2026 season and (d) Teams that finished higher in the standings at the end of the 2025–2026 season. When seeded teams are determined pursuant to (d), if a league consists of more than one group: (a) Among teams in different groups that finished in the same position, the team with the higher number of points shall be seeded. If the groups have different numbers of teams, the team with the higher points-per-game average shall be seeded; (b) If the points or points-per-game averages are equal, the team with the better goal difference shall be seeded; (c) If the goal difference is also equal, the team that has scored more goals shall be seeded.
