History
The 7th Rapid Response Corps received during its early days attention from prominent political figures such as former President Petro Poroshenko, who visited the newly formed unit.[5] This corps is part of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, which combines all field units under this specialization. The creation of this corps represents a strategic enhancement in Ukraine's military structure, aligning it more closely with NATO-style corps units.[6]
Units of the 7th Corps were reported in July and August 2025 to have been active on the Pokrovsk front.[7][8][9][10]
Structure

Reports vary on whether the 81st Airmobile Brigade belongs to the 7th Rapid Response Corps or the 11th Army Corps.[2][11]
