Amy Fusselman is an American author, best known for her narrative prose in both fiction and nonfiction.[1] Her published works include essays and novels. Fusselman’s creative writing blends experimental form [2]with a cross-pollination of poetry and comedic insight.[3] Her work often centers on social issues to explore complex family dynamics and the absurdity of everyday life.[4][5] Fusselman lives with her family in New York City.[6]
Fusselman received her BA in English from Ohio State University and earned an MA in Creative Writing from Boston University in 1989, studying poetry under Nobel Prize winner Derek Walcott.[7]
