List of current and deceased life members of the Italian Senate, appointed "for outstanding merits in the social, scientific, artistic or literary field" by the president of Italy. Former presidents are ex officio life members. Life senators appointed before 1946 are included in Category:Members of the Senate of the Kingdom of Italy.
