This category includes people (mostly civilians) killed by the policies and legislation of the Independent State of Croatia (which existed between 1941 and 1945 as an Axis-backed client state formed from parts of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia) and by its armed forces: the Ustashe and Croatian Home Guard.
