This is a tracking category for unrecognized taxon ranks. Recognized taxon ranks are listed in Module:Taxobox ranks, which is responsible for placing taxonomy templates in this category. If the unrecognized taxon rank is not an error, the table at Module:Taxobox ranks.ranks will need updating.

This is an administrative category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories (except for eponymous maintenance categories).
