This category pertains to women entitled to the courtesy title of Lady through marriage to a knight. (Substantive knighthoods, not honorary.)
- Wives of men who were already peers when they received knighthoods should not be included.
- Do not include wives who died or were divorced from their spouse before the knighthood in question was issued or gazetted.
