2008–2014: Early years

The account Streety was created on March 29, 2008.[citation needed] This was an account used for a YouTube, RobloxHUB. Aretz primarily posted videos related to skateboarding on the channel, which is an interest of his even as of now.[citation needed]

During this time, he tried to ask out another Roblox user, dhyrbfyty.[citation needed] He was rejected, as she was already in a relationship with a user named Billbone.[citation needed] This went on to be relevant as a joke within his fandom, along with being used as a plot point throughout his Smiles Family videos.[citation needed]

Streety was banned for two weeks after spamming in the chat of a Roblox game on February 12, 2012.[citation needed] A video about this would be the last video he'd ever post on the RobloxHUB channel.[citation needed] He had created the Alberts account on July 28, 2008, and created the AlbertsStuff YouTube account on July 19, 2012. [citation needed] After a period of inactivity on YouTube, he uploaded his first video on his AlbertsStuff channel on October 27, 2014.[citation needed]

2014–2017: AlbertsStuff, popularity, and controversies

Aretz started out uploading videos about the Roblox game Apocalypse Rising, involving funny moments within the game and stream sniping on Twitch.[citation needed] Around 2015, he started to post more provocative videos. He started posting trolling videos and profane commentaries, and continued that style of content for about two years.[citation needed]

Through this edgy content, he gained notoriety. He was one of the few mature Roblox YouTubers at the time. [citation needed] As of now, AlbertsStuff has 1.3 million subscribers.[citation needed]

During the first YouTube Adpocalypse, most of AlbertsStuff's videos were demonetized. Shortly after this, Aretz posted his final video on AlbertsStuff, before posting his first video on Flamingo, announcing that he was moving.[citation needed] Initially, he said he would keep uploading on AlbertsStuff, but completely stopped uploading on the channel shortly after.[citation needed] Due to his demonetization, he started posting strictly family friendly videos, with no vulgarity.
