Early life and education

Dang was born in Singapore and lived in Taiwan for a few years during her childhood. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honours from the Business School of the National University of Singapore (NUS). As of April 2025, she was pursuing a Master of Business Administration, expected to be completed in July 2025, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).[1]

Career

As of April 2025, Dang had more than eight years' experience in the technology sector, preceded by six years in the finance sector as a relationship manager in wealth management and private banking. At that time, she was the Senior Director of Publisher Business Development at Teads, and led a supply expansion team focused on the Asia-Pacific region.[2]

Political career

Dang became involved in politics in 2020 as a WP volunteer.[1]

In the 2025 general election, Dang was fielded as part of a four-member WP team for the newly created Punggol GRC, led by Harpreet Singh Nehal.[1][2] During the campaigning period, she rebuffed Sun Xueling's comment in a rally speech which she stated that Punggol does not need "strangers", referring to the WP team. Dang questioned if the "stranger" comment is better applied to Gan Kim Yong, which made a last minute move from Chua Chu Kang Group Representation Constituency to Punggol to contest.[3]

Personal life

Dang is single, and lives with her mother and her younger sister.[4][2]
