The Aramean Democratic Organization (Classical Syriac: ܛܘܟܣܐ ܐܪܡܝܐ ܕܝܡܘܩܪܛܝܐ, romanized: Ṭukoso Oromoyo Dimoqraṭoyo; Turoyo: M’takasto Suryayto Dimokratayto; Arabic: التنظيم الآرامي الديمقراطي, romanized: at-Tanzīm al-Ārāmī ad-Dīmuqrāṭī), also known as ArDO, is a political organization in Lebanon representing Aramean (Syriac-speaking Christian) identity within the country’s confessional political system.

History
The Aramean Democratic Organization was established in 1988. Its founding documents emphasize cultural and linguistic preservation of Syriac/Aramean heritage.
Ideology and political position
The ArDO promotes Aramean identity and cultural preservation alongside Christian democratic and conservative positions.
Flag
The party uses red in its flag to represent the syriac christian martyrs who died for the faith. The yellow represents a hope in a future aramean nation. The eagle is an ancient Aramean symbol which represents the people of Aram.
