Development
The team behind Spiritfarer had begun developing ideas for a new game as early as 2021, with Guérin leading the game. Maxime Lacoste-Lebuis was confirmed to be the composer for At Fate's End, after composing previous titles from Thunder Lotus Games.[1]
Described as "the reverse" of Spiritfarer, the game will explore the more conflicting side of families, with each family member being made for the player to question themselves, and wonder if they have the empathy to forgive their past actions.[2]
