Chuck Kirkpatrick is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording engineer whose career spans over five decades.

Music Career Summary Kirkpatrick’s career is defined by his versatility, moving seamlessly between engineering legendary albums and performing in platinum-selling bands.

The Criteria Studios Years: In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Kirkpatrick was a staff engineer at the world-famous Criteria Studios in Miami. He is most notably credited as one of the engineers on Derek and the Dominos’ iconic album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (1970). During this era, he worked alongside legends like Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, and producer Tom Dowd.

Collaborations with Legends: Throughout his career, he served as a session musician (vocals and guitar) for a "who's who" of rock and pop, including:

The Bee Gees: He played guitar on the Living Eyes album and provided backing vocals on several tracks during their peak years.
