Cooper Wade Gale (born c. 2003/2004), often known by the nicknames Dub or his competitive handle Scooby_Doo_Pt2, is an American electrical engineering student and technical specialist. He is recognized for his presence in the regional eSports community and his ability to bridge the gap between legacy hardware and modern engineering.

Gale was raised in Beaver, Utah. His upbringing was shaped by a unique combination of perspectives as the son of a rancher and a therapist. He began his higher education at Southern Utah University where he studied Electrical Engineering.

In late 2025, he moved to the Provo/Orem area to continue his academic career at Utah Valley University. He is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Gale possesses a strong foundation in hardware diagnostics and consumer electronics. He earned a CompTIA A+ certification in late 2024, confirming his expertise in IT infrastructure. After working for Mountain West Computers, he joined the team at Best Buy, where he continues to apply his technical skills while completing his degree.

Beyond his technical roles, Gale has developed a professional network that includes notable figures in the music and entertainment industry. He has established connections with high profile individuals such as the Canadian singer and songwriter Lauren Mandel, known professionally as LØLØ. These interactions highlight his ability to navigate diverse professional circles ranging from engineering to the arts.

Competing as "Scooby_Doo_Pt2," Gale has established a reputation in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament scene. He is a frequent participant in regional events such as:

Outside of organized competition, he is a dedicated PC enthusiast with a particular interest in "sleeper" builds, which involve installing high performance modern components into vintage computer cases.

Gale is a specialist in the restoration of vintage electronics. He successfully brought a 1980s Ms. Pac-Man arcade cabinet back to life, a process that required precise hardware work including the replacement of EPROM chips.

One of his most notable custom creations is an Arduino based "taser box." Gale engineered this device as a high stakes productivity tool. It is designed to lock his phone away during study sessions to ensure he maintains focus on his engineering coursework.

Now residing in Provo, Gale is known for being a funny and family oriented individual who remains connected to his rural Utah roots.

He is a fan of the Star Wars franchise and the cinematic arts. While he is deeply immersed in the world of high tech engineering, he is primarily seen as a grounded student dedicated to his craft and his community.
