Darna, according to Nepal's former administrative division, was a Village Development Committee (VDC) located in the Seti Zone of the Far-Western Development Region, in Achham District. According to the 11th National Census of 2011 (2068 BS), the population here was 4,387, consisting of 1,888 males and 2,499 females, with a total of 801 households. It now falls under Bannigadi Jayagad Rural Municipality in Sudurpashchim Province.

Administration
Darna was previously a Village Development Committee in the Seti Zone of the Far-Western Development Region. Following the 2015 administrative restructuring, it was incorporated into Bannigadhi Jayagadh Rural Municipality.
