History
Fracttal was founded in 2014 (or 2015) by Alejandro Pérez and Christian Struve during a startup programme in Chile. The founders observed a gap in maintenance management solutions for small and mid-sized companies that lacked budget for high-end legacy systems.
From its initial prototype participation in Startup Chile in 2015, the company launched its cloud software and gradually scaled into Latin America and then Europe. Fracttal+1 Over time Fracttal raised several rounds of venture funding (including seed and Series A rounds) and in 2023 reportedly raised USD 10 million to support expansion.
Products & Technology
Fracttal’s main offering is the “Fracttal One” platform — a 100 % online, mobile-friendly CMMS that integrates work-order management, asset management, preventive & predictive maintenance, IoT-sensor monitoring, analytics and AI-assisted insights. The technology emphasises accessibility, scalability (for companies of all sizes), and integration with ERPs, mobile devices and IoT/sensor networks.
The company targets outcomes such as increased asset availability, reduced downtime, lower inventory & maintenance-costs, and improved productivity.
