Development
Cheesy HFJ likely began brainstorming HfjONE’s concept and story around August 24th, 2019. On that day, Battle for Circle, Cheesy HFJ’s other object show, had one of the circles, specifically a circle with a mole, disappear out of nowhere while running, and on December 13th, 2020, that same circle became a HfjONE contestant, joining the series while running.[1]
On January 12th, 2020, the teaser trailer for HfjONE released, showing Taylor and Charlise on the phone and Taylor’s sudden disappearance. Episode 1 came out on June 11th, 2020, and the episode release schedule always had consistency. For the first 3, each episode’s release exactly 3 months and 1 day after the previous. Starting on episode 4, each episode up to 9 released exactly 1 month and 1 day after each other, ending off season one.
On May 7th, 2022, a teaser for season two dropped on Cheesy HFJ, showing some of the new character assets, new backgrounds, and a new storyline. On May 15th of that year, a trailer came, showing some scenes from season two’s first couple episodes, revealing that every episode was already being made for the past 10 months, that season 2 would be the final season, and showing the release dates of every episode, each releasing exactly ten days after the other.
After ONE season 2 finished, Cheesy HFJ made a short titled “ONE IS DONE”, showing a guy putting a “D” on ONE, and a compilation of the entire series was uploaded, split into two seasons. On May 11th, 2023, merch started, with some clothes and some posters featuring ONE characters and backgrounds. A batch two released in August, giving new merch, and on February 1st, 2024, a Liam (backpack) plush released.
From February 13th to March 15th, 2024, a new miniseries started, titled ONE Investigations, following the Lucas County Police Department[h] looking for information from witnesses about what happened, along with how and why 6 people disappeared. It ran for 6 episodes, one for each missing person. On December 2nd, 2024, Bryce, Amelia, and Airy plushies released. Now, ONE is finished, and Cheesy HFJ has moved on to a new show, titled Paregui.
ONE also had an official soundtrack, consisting of 53 official songs and 3 unused songs. On October 20th, the official soundtrack was released onto Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and many other music applications. 28 songs for the first season and season 2 had 25, along with 3 unused ones. Around the Bend, the final song played in the show, also has lyrics, unlike the others.

Notes
- “The Plane” is not an actual plane, it is the name of the planet the first season takes place in.
- The first batch of contestants, six people from the object “real world” who got teleported by Airy and purposely want to lose so they can leave.
- Charlotte has mold because she went to a cave, and the workers never warned her that there were large patches of fungus in it.
- A second batch of contestants, debuting into the series in ONE 2, coming from a world where objects are actual objects, living in a human world, and do not move. They can retract their limbs from themselves when humans are nearby.
- A batch of contestants debuting in ONE 3, being characters from different planets/dimensions.
- Characters who appeared in the miniseries, One Investigations. All six of the witnesses also were the cast for Airy’s planned Season Three of ONE, in the main series.
- French for “The Waiting Room”
- Lucas County Police Department is not real, it is a fictional department in the show.
