Jane Don't (born March 16, 1993) is the stage name of Sam Chapman, an American drag performer known for competing on season 18 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Early Life and Education

Jane Don't is originally from Spokane, Washington. She grew up going to Catholic school, where she was part of her middle school theater productions. As she got older, she began performing at Spokane Children's Theater and Spokane Civic Theatre, while also taking improv classes.[1]

She attended Pacific Lutheran University and received a degree in musical theatre. Before starting drag in 2020, she worked as a barista and in live entertainment management.[2]

Career

Jane Don't is based in Seattle, Washington. She is currently competing on season 18 of Rupaul's Drag Race. In the second, ninth, and tenth episodes of the season, she won the main challenges, winning three cash prizes of $5,000, as well as a set of Away luggage for the tenth episode. She also placed high in episodes one, three, four, seven, eight, and eleven.[3]

She came up with her drag name name while smoking weed in college, and says she did not consider any other names[4]. Her drag sisters are Bosco and Irene the Alien.[5]
