Los Rusos are a right-wing armed wing that originally operated under the command of Ismael Zambada García, know as "El Mayo", one of the leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel. After El Mayo’s arrest, the group shifted its loyalty to his son, Ismael Zambada Imperial, known as “El Mayito Flaco”. Los Rusos now serve as one of the main enforcement arms of the Zambada faction, maintaining control over key trafficking routes and responding with violence to any threat internal or external.
