Format
The sixteen teams are divided into four groups of four teams each. Within each group, a single round-robin tournament is played with all matches being best-of-three. Teams played a total of three matches, one against each team in their group. The top two teams advanced to the playoffs with the first-place team starting from the upper bracket while the second-place team began in the lower bracket.
The playoffs were a double-elimination tournament. Every match up to the bracket finals is best-of-three, the upper bracket and lower bracket final are best-of-five, and the grand final is a best-of-seven.
