Format
The sixteen teams are divided into four groups of three teams each. Within each group, a single round-robin tournament is played with all matches being best-of-three. Teams played a total of two matches, one against each team in their group. The first-place team in each group advanced to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The remaining teams competed in the play-in, which was a single best-of-three match with the winner advancing to the lower bracket of the playoffs.
The playoffs were a double-elimination tournament. Every match up to the bracket finals is best-of-three, the upper bracket and lower bracket final are best-of-five, and the grand final is a best-of-seven.
