Murphee A. Thompson is a British actor and filmmaker from Birmingham, England. She is known for her television appearance in the BBC medical drama Doctors and for work connected to the Netflix series The Sandman. In addition to acting, Thompson works as a writer and director on short films.

Early life
Thompson was born in Birmingham, England. She participated in a number of school productions and later on with The Crescent Theatre in Birmingham. She later trained in acting at East 15 Acting School and began working in film and television.
Career
In 2024 she appeared in the BBC medical drama Doctors, portraying the character Livi Sedgewick.
Alongside her acting career, Thompson works as a filmmaker, writing and directing short films.
Her short films The Roaring and Headspace have screened at several film festivals. Thompson was also a finalist for the Slick Film Fund 2025.
