Firefighting museum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The New Bern Firemen's Museum is a historic firefighter's hall located in downtown New Bern, North Carolina. It covers the story of the New Bern Fire Department, which used to be two separate companies; Atlantic Hook and Ladder Company, and New Bern Steam Fire Engine Company, a split originating from the US Civil war. [1] James McConnell, chief of the New Bern Fire Department, is the President of the museum.[2]
