Patrizia Polliotto

Patrizia Polliotto (born 21 March 1962) is an Italian corporate lawyer and entrepreneur. She currently serves as the president of the Piedmont Regional Committee of the National Consumers' Union.[1]

Early life and education

Polliotto was born on 21 March 1962, in Pinerolo, Italy.[2] She graduated from the University of Turin with a law degree in 1986. Additionally, Polliotto attended the London School of Economics.[2] Since 2007, Polliotto has been qualified to practice before the Italian Supreme Court.[2][3]

Career

In 2004, Polliotto was appointed as a board member of the Compagnia di San Paolo by the Ministry of Equal Opportunity and the Municipality of Turin, a position she held until 2008 and again from 2010 to 2012.[3][4] In 2012, she served as a member of the management committee of the Compagnia di San Paolo, designated by the Piedmont region. From 2006 to 2012, Polliotto was the director of the Fondazione Teatro Nuovo for dance, appointed by the Municipality of Pinerolo.[5]

In 2010, Polliotto became CEO of Icarus S.p.A., designated by Finmeccanica Group Real Estate S.p.A., a role she held until 2014.[5] That same year, she became a board director of Vincenzo Zucchi S.p.A. and was elected as a member of its supervisory board in 2019.[6] In 2012, Polliotto published "La sola dei famosi" ('The Only One of The Famous'), a book recounting stories of scams experienced by notable Italian individuals. .[7]

In 2019, Polliotto was appointed chairperson of the Board of Directors of Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi S.p.A. In 2020, Polliotto became a member of the upervisory Body of the Compagnia di San Paolo. In April 2021, she was elected as a member of the board of directors of NB Aurora.[5]

Polliotto has held various other roles, including liquidator, auditor, president, independent director, and board member for companies such as IREN Group, Finmeccanica Group Real Estate S.p.A., Compagnia di San Paolo, Juventus, Zucchi, and Viasat.[8][3][5]
