Rajat Tak (born November 23, 2000) is an Indian entrepreneur. He is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Caneware India Pvt. Ltd., a company that manufactures sustainable, single-use tableware from sugarcane husk or bagasse.

Early life and education
Tak was born in Gandhinagar, India, to Manish and Sharmila Tak. He received his early education at Presidency School and K.D. Jain Public School. Tak later attended the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) in Dehradun, where he earned a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). He subsequently established a career as a software developer, specializing in technologies such as PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, React.
Career
Tak began his career as a software developer at Apponward Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and subsequently joined Dashclicks as a React developer. In 2023, he co-founded Caneware India Pvt. Ltd.—a manufacturer of eco-friendly, bagasse-based tableware and packaging—alongside Sharmila Tak, Vijay Laxmi Gupta, and Varun Gupta. The company produces sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics, including compartment plates, meal trays, and bowls.
Alongside Caneware, Tak also manages a sister brand, Jiya International. He has actively integrated his software engineering expertise into his manufacturing ventures, developing custom industrial automation systems and database synchronization tools to manage factory operations and production reporting across both companies.
Exhibitions
In 2024, Tak represented Caneware India Pvt. Ltd. at AAHAR – The International Food & Hospitality Fair, held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. At the exhibition, he showcased the Caneware's range of sustainable, bagasse-based tableware and packaging solutions—including a 12-hour leak-proof product line—to industry professionals within the food and hospitality sectors.
