Draft:Slowpoke Well

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the fictional Pokémon universe, Slowpoke Well is an area located west of Union Cave and just east of Azalea Town. It is named after the Pokémon, Slowpoke. Slowpoke Well, according to an outdoor sign near it, also has the nickname, Rainmaker Well. It is believed, many years ago, a Slowpoke yawned and ended a drought that devastated the town. As a result, the townsfolk treat Slowpoke with the highest regards.

Apperences

In Pokémon Gold, Silver & Crystal Versions, the player enters Slowpoke Well early in the game after discovering that Team Rocket have been cutting of the tails of Slowpoke and selling them. A man named Kurt will lead you to the well but will hurt himself and be left behind. It is quite easy to fend off the Rockets. Once you have the well will be clear and the missing Slowpoke return to Azalea Town. After this Kurt will make customised Pokéballs for you and Azalea's gym will open.

In the games Slowpoke Well appears as an easy to navigate underground cavern. However, after your Pokémon learns Surf and Strength, you can access floor B2. You can obtain King's Rock and TM 18 (Rain Dance) there.
