  • Comment: To meet WP:SIRS for notability, we will need sources which look at the company, rather than the products. Big sections of company material is not in secondary sourcing, and a lot of sources will be regarded as WP:CORPTRIV. See the Acme example, and it's not easy. You can't use direct links in the article, and a lot of this promotional language, rather a neutral encyclopedia's text. ChrysGalley (talk) 10:30, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

History

TOG24, “Truth Over Glory Everyday”, was founded in 1958 by Donald Ward in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire[1]. Ward had previously worked as a millwright in the local textile industry before establishing the company as a footwear manufacturer in the Spen Valley[8].

During the 1970s, the company expanded beyond footwear, introducing sports bags and football kits before later developing ranges of outdoor clothing including waterproofs, fleeces and skiwear[1].

TOG24 originally sold its products through a factory shop at Spen Vale Mills[8] in Heckmondwike. The shop later developed into a wider retail network across the United Kingdom.

The company remains family-run, with later generations of the Ward family involved in management[1].

Business Operations

TOG24 designs outdoor clothing and accessories for men, women and children. Its products are sold through its own retail stores, online platforms and selected third-party retailers.

The company’s design operations remain based in the Spen Valley[8] in West Yorkshire.

The company has also partnered with Huddersfield Town A.F.C. as an official outdoorwear partner[4].

In 2024 the company launched the TOG24 Together Foundation to coordinate charitable activities.
